Dr. Zeke Brown
Zeke Brown is President & CEO at ZB Training Solution, a small veteran owned business that specializes in leadership development. A little bit about my background, I was born and raised in Deatsville, Alabama (Roll Tide), a rural town with “one flashing yellow light” about 30 miles north of Montgomery. After high school, I decided to see the world, so I joined the United States Army. During 22 ½ years of active-duty service, I served two tours at Fort Hood Texas with the First Calvary and 2nd Armored Divisions, three tours (11 years total) in Germany (Kirch-gons “The Rock”, Bamberg, and Mannheim) with 1st and 3rd Armored Divisions, and 21st Theater Support Command. I also had stateside tours with the 101st Airborne Division, the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, and the US Army Ordnance Center & School Aberdeen Proving Ground MD as a Master Instructor.
After retirement in 2003, I served in multiple leadership positions which included a 12-month assignment in Fallujah Iraq with Halliburton Corporation as a civilian contractor, the Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) as a Disabled Veteran Opportunity Specialist (DVOP), and Senior Trainer and Project Manager with AECOM Corporation (formally URS Federal Services/EG&G) supporting the United Marine Corps Engineer/Transportation Command. During the government shut down of 2013, I decided to launch ZB Training Solutions, a company with core competencies in the areas of leadership development, teambuilding, and personality and behavioral assessments using such instruments as Everything DiSC, Fundamental Interpersonal Relationships Orientation (FIRO), and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instruments. Since our inception in November 2013, some of our current and past customers include each of the Naval Surface and Naval Undersea Warfare Centers throughout the United States, the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Fayetteville AR and currently Baltimore MD, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Seattle, Norfolk State University, VA National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Anthem Health, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), United States Marine Corps (USMC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District, and U.S. Forest Service Region 6 (Washington & Oregon).
